Winter WoNDerLaND

I am LOVING the snow....it feels like Christmas now! Ever since I moved to St. George Christmas just isn't the same without snow. However, I am also thankful it will melt by the end of the day!:)

p.s. The red rocks look AMAZING with a layer of snow! And I LOVE how school was cancelled due to a FEW inches of snow...ha ha SNOW freaks everybody out in St. George!

One AMAZING weekend!

Friday night Jason and I went out on a "date." We have not done this for so long! We had a great time and ended our night with a peppermint mocha at Starbucks. Saturday we headed down to Vegas....more to follow below. My sister was also in town with Michael and the boys all weekend! We ended our mini vacation with a nice Sunday dinner at my parents!

Jason's dad gave us Brooks & Dunn Concert tickets and a room in Veags Saturday night....his Dad could not go last minute. So we gladly accepted the offer to take his tickets and hotel room! We ate a nice meal at Benihana's then headed to the concert. Jason and I both agreed it was the BEST concert we had ever been to!!! I can honestly tell you I was not quit sure if I would know many songs. Yep, we KNEW and could SING every song except one!!! WE had a BLAST!! They are AMAZING live...their voices are just like you hear on the radio. I posted a video of a the song "Cowgirl Don't Cry." To top off the night REBA showed up to sing the last verse of this song....we could NOT believe it when she walked out on stage! I didn't post the video with Reba in it because you can't really hear her sing with the crowd screaming so loud!

Turkey Weekend

We had a FUN weekend at the Wilson Cabin. We were able to have Thanksgiving dinner with my siblings, Brett, Dion & Mike and their kids Kyler and Dominic. My Grandparents also joined us along with my Cousin Max his wife, Jodie, and their son Carter. We enjoyed lots of food, card games, four wheeler rides, puzzles, BINGO (for prizes) and just hanging out together!

Saturday we went down to Salt Lake to do some shopping! Jason and I were able to eat at Ichiban Sushi and LOVED it. After dinner we walked to Salt Lake Roasting Company for a yummy cup of Java! What a GREAT weekend....the cabin is such a nice retreat!

Jason and I flew out to California last weekend to meet our nephew,Colby! What a GREAT baby he is! And he is so dang cute I couldn't resist kisses! We had a fun time hanging out with family...lots of walks, Nerts, and cheesecake! Thanks to Kim and Steve for letting us stay at their house once again!!...what GREAT in-laws I have:)

We have our first nephew, COLBY!! Isn't he adorable? He sure sounds like a sweet boy! We can't wait to meet him in a few weeks! Congrats to Jessica and Brent!

Vegas Baby!

Brad, a GREAT friend from COLORADO, wanted to make a trip to Veags. So the boys planned a trip and I joined them for one night! (Someone has to work.) I had a GREAT time, probably one of the best nights out in a few years! We danced into the wee hours of the morning, it was a BLAST! Not to mention the margaritas at Margaritaville were EXCELLENT.

Anniversary NUMBER 2!

The past two years have been AMAZING! We have now been together for 6 years...WOW! We dated for FOUR years before we tied the knot....and we NEVER broke up once while we were dating! Jason and I have so much fun together and I think we are a PERFECT match. What a GREAT decision we made to get married-probably the BEST decision I have ever made! I LOVE you JAS! To celebrate we went to my family cabin over the weekend. We had a BLAST just hanging out and being lazy. We did go into Park City one evening for a YUMMY dinner.

Oh yeah.......I forgot to post this great picture! Steve took my dad fishing on the delta while we were in California! My dad was proud of this catch!!

California!

We had a GREAT trip out to California this summer! My parents were able to join us for a few days so we had the opportunity to show them around! Jason and I always enjoy spending time with his family....I am sure lucky to have such GREAT inlaws!!!

We made a trip out to Napa one day, which Jason and I always LOVE! We also spent an afternoon in Santa Cruz...I couldn't believe how many people were swimming in the ocean and I had to wear a jacket the whole day. Of course Kim hosted a GREAT baby shower for Jessica. And Kristina had the whole family over one day to play at her house. She lives on a lake so we found lots to do.....fishing, riding the electric paddle boat, swimming, eating, and the boys, Jason, Scott, and Brent provided entertainment by trying to use the row boat. We had a FANTASTIC trip and enjoyed visiting with everyone....but I know Jason's FAVORITE part of the trip was sushi at Sozo's!

We finally bought me a new car! It is a Nissan Altima and I LOVE it!! We still have the Jetta just in case I feel the urge to drive it....yeah right! We are trying to decide if we want to sell the Jetta or keep it in case we move to California. We don't want to pay for gas in Jason's truck if he has to commute. I guess we have 3 cars for 2 drivers right now?!
