GRAND Canyon

We had a GREAT time at the Grand Canyon today! It was Jason and Dax's FIRST visit and my second. We are so lucky to have it so close to our house. Just a few hour drive and we were at the North Rim. Dax enjoyed his first hike ever.....and he LOVED the backpack. He babbled, screamed, laughed, and kicked his legs in excitement all day! We enjoyed a yummy picnic lunch on a bench overlooking the canyon. Dax was the "star" today....everybody couldn't believe we had a baby in our backpack. We had a handful of people who took a picture or videoed our family....like they had never seen such a CUTE baby in a backpack. We also enjoyed a cool 78 degree day, a nice break from the 100+ we are used to. What a PERFECT day!
