*8 Months*

~July 13, 2010~

Ahhhh! Hard to believe my little Dax-man is 8 months old! His little personality shines through more and more each day! This has to be the BEST age! Interactive and fun, but not quite mobile yet, I LOVE it!

*I know I have mentioned this before, but this kid LOVES to eat! He gets so EXCITED when he sees us getting his food ready. He means business when it comes to eating....he keeps his hands out of the way and expects us to shovel it in as FAST as we can!
*His hair is changing color....he is definitely a strawberry blonde!
*Takes 2-3 naps a day
* Wears size 3 Pampers diapers.....and Huggies do NOT work. He pees right through them.
*Goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up around 6:30 am to eat. Then he goes RIGHT back to sleep until 9am...it's the best!
* Loves to jump in his jumparoo!
*Will play FOREVER on the floor. He moves all around now..... from the kitchen clear to the other side of the living room!
*Gets up on all fours and rocks with occasional backward crawling.....I am sure he will be on "the move" shortly. :(
*Loves to swim in Nanny and Papa's pool.
*Babbles, giggles, and smiles ALL day long! Says ba-ba and da-da but no ma-ma.
*Loves to read/look at books!
*Enjoys sucking on his fingers.
*Started one bottle a day of formula....he doesn't seem to mind.
*LOVES his Nuk(newborn size) binki. Gags when given another brand and even gags with a larger Nuk binki.
*Sleeps on his tummy now.
*Dax is SHY when around unfamiliar people. He puts his head down until he warms up to the new person....then he is usually okay. But, he will not make a peep around new people until he warms up. Most people comment that he is so quiet, which is the total opposite! Dax just wants to make a good first impression...... I guess!
*Has CHUBBY feet, shoes do not fit.
*Still thinks his dog, Stella, is SO funny. He just looks at her and it makes him giggle!
